Conceptual fusion

In the beginning, I wanted everyone to dive into the enchanting world of scrape painting, so I handed out blank canvases and encouraged each person to contribute dots, just like how people's individual efforts shape Wymering into a living entity. The room buzzed with excitement as colors splashed across the canvases, and it was heartening to see everyone so eager and joyful in their creative expressions.

During the presentation, I took the stage and performed a live demonstration, expressing my feelings and expectations through the scrape painting. I wove in the concept by showing lidar scans of sections above the painting, attempting to convey how the scrape painting mirrored the mosaic created by the community's efforts in Wymering Manor. However, it seemed like my explanation fell short, and Rokshid and Mark couldn't quite grasp the connection between the scrape painting and my vision for the Wymering model.

Despite their appreciation for the scrape painting technique, the bridge to my concept felt a bit shaky. Both Rokshid and Mark resonated with the idea of how individual efforts, no matter how small, could come together to create a beautiful mosaic when viewed from a different perspective. However, they encouraged me to refine and strengthen the link between the scrape painting and my overarching concept for Wymering. It's clear that there's potential, and I'm determined to delve deeper, ensuring that the beauty and synergy of community efforts are vividly represented in both the scrape painting and the Wymering model.

Looking at what other people did helped me see where I can make my project better. I got a fresh way of thinking and a lot of energy to work on my project. Seeing different projects showed me what parts I should pay more attention to in my own work. It was like a boost of inspiration, helping me improve things that I might have missed before. Now, with this new understanding, I'm excited to work on my project, focusing on the important parts I've learned from others.
